Lauber Municipal Law represents multiple cities in Missouri and Kansas for their prosecution needs. Below you will find the option for frequently asked questions for the state in which you received your citation. Please click on which state you will need. Missouri

Please mail a cashier’s check/money order to:

Please leave the cashier’s check/money order blank and we will address it to the intended party. Your case number should be added to the memo line.

Once your citation has been entered and accepted, it will appear on https://www.courts.mo.gov/cnet/welcome.do . You may look it up by your citation/case number or by name.

You may obtain a criminal defense attorney; we cannot recommend one for you.

We represent the city; we cannot be your lawyer.

If you in fact had insurance at the time of your citation but did not have the proof on your person, you may email that proof of insurance in, along with your full name, city you were cited in, and citation number to prosecutor@laubermunicipal.com.

Yes, our prosecutors will be able to speak with you at your court appearance.

You may email in your request to prosecutor@laubermunicipal.com. Please provide your full name, city you were cited in, citation number, and a brief statement of request. Amendments are not guaranteed.

Visit this site to plead and pay for your citation. https://www.courts.mo.gov/cnet/welcome.do. Some violations are court appearance required and may not be payable in advance. For those violations you will need to attend your scheduled court appearance.

Kansas

Please reach out to the court in which your case is to be heard.

You may obtain a criminal defense attorney on your own. In addition, and at the Court’s discretion, you may qualify for a court appointed attorney, generally if jail time is requested; we cannot recommend one for you.

We represent the city; we cannot be your lawyer.

If you in fact had insurance at the time of your citation but did not have the proof on your person, you may email that proof of insurance in, along with your full name, city you were cited in, and citation number to prosecutor@laubermunicipal.com. The Court may engage in an insurance verification process offered by the Department of Revenue.

Our prosecutors will be able to speak with you at your court appearance. Generally, the prosecutor is available 45 minutes to one hour prior to the scheduled docket time.
