Dee Dee Meier
Litigation Paralegal
Dee Dee Meier joined the Lauber team in January 2023 as a Litigation Paralegal. She attended the University of Kansas and began her legal career with a small firm in Central Texas. For the past 35 years she has worked for various law firms and is proficient in many areas of law, particularly corporate, real estate, estate planning, family law and litigation. She spent the last 20 years working in litigation, 12 years with a plaintiff’s firm and 8 years in civil.
Whitney VanDeVyvere
Prosecution Paralegal
Whitney joined Lauber Municipal Law in March 2023 as an Administrative Assistant and quickly made herself an asset to the team where she was promoted to Legal Assistant and then to Prosecution Paralegal. Whitney’s roles as Prosecution Paralegal include helping to manage 23 dockets for 19 cities, drafting legal documents, assisting in discovery, and providing assistance to the attorneys.
Kasey Brazell
Legal Assistant
Kasey joined the Lauber team in December 2024 as a Legal Assistant. Kasey worked for 6 years for the City of Topeka in both the Municipal Court and the Prosecution office handling all aspects of municipal law cases. Kasey’s roles as Legal Assistant include assisting in both prosecution and litigation matters, providing assistance to the attorneys, and COT training materials. In addition, Kasey also plays a huge role on our marketing team.
