Andrew J. Ruhlman

Andrew Ruhlman practices in the areas of general municipal law, litigation, ordinance drafting, code enforcement, and municipal prosecution. Andrew joined Lauber Municipal Law in 2025, bringing with him a diverse background in both criminal and civil matters. Prior to entering municipal practice, Andrew served as an Assistant Public Defender for the State of Missouri (MSPD), where he gained extensive courtroom experience, managed high-volume caseloads, and advocated for clients in complex hearings and trials. Before his tenure with the MSPD, Andrew managed his own private practice, where he handled a broad spectrum of legal issues ranging from corporate law and business formation to criminal defense. Andrew’s unique combination of private sector business experience and public sector litigation allows him to offer practical, multifaceted advice to his municipal clients.
